This fool….

(From Woooha)

The Donald should be a rapper the way he goes after the competition. In typical Trump fashion, when asked how he felt about current TV shows modeled after “The Apprentice” he went after 50 Cent and his new MTV reality show “The Money & The Power” saying, “I’m in many, many rappers songs. And I know them. 50 Cent is sort of a friend of mine. I mean, he likes me. He just did a show. It was a copy of ‘The Apprentice.’ It will fail because he’s not Trump, but he’s actually a nice guy.”

And if that wasn’t enough, Trump then goes on to diss Diddy and his show “I Want to Work For Diddy” saying, “And P. Diddy did a show which, by the way, I think bombed, but it was a copy. I wrote him a little note, ‘Good luck with the copy.”

How do you think 50 will react? Maybe he will release his next season of the show on the same day as “The Apprentice.” Or will put out a bunch of mixtapes dissing Trump called “You’re Fired Fool!”. Oh the possibilities. More like, 50 will do nothing because he knows Trump got dat money…and Curtis is always looking for more.

Like emcees, producers are now battling in competitions to establish their name and separate themselves from the rest of the MPC bangers. The name Illmind first popped off on the Beat Society circuit, where he showcased with heavyweights like Kanye West and Just Blaze. Primarily known for producing tracks for underground heavyweights such as Little Brother, Boot Camp Clik, Akrobatik, and El Da Sensei, Sha Money XL’s Money Management Group has recently upgraded the New Jersey beat-smith’s seat from economy to first class, bringing new Illmind produced songs with 50 Cent, G-Unit, Redman, Black Eyed Peas, Scarface, LL Cool J, and many more. He has also been featured in multiple magazine and online publications, such as Scratch Magazine (Top 20 Best Producers), Mass Appeal, The Source, XXL, Hiphopgame.com, Hiphopdx.com, and more. But before the backpackers get their blog on, the equal-opportunity producer shows that with follow-up projects with Diamond D, Heltah Skeltah, Pharoah Monch, Jay Electronica, and more, a T-Shirt/Mixtape Line, music for the Jabbawockeez, and up-coming projects with his soon to be world-reknowned crew, Fortilive, he hasn’t forgotten his roots.

It’s being reported by AllHipHop.com that Young Buck is officially no longer part of G-Unit. Here’s the swoops:

50 Cent has made it clear about the status of Young Buck, one of his artists who has had a shaky relationship with the company for several months.

50 Cent revealed today that the Tennessee rapper was no longer in G-Unit the group, but would still record for the label.

“You can look at it and see that’s Game all the way. I was giving him a chance, giving him the benefit of the doubt . You can take this as an official notice right here – pretty much you can say: Young Buck is no longer in the group G-Unit, but signed to G-Unit as a solo artist,” 50 Cent told DJ Envy, a co-host on the Hot 97 Morning Show with Miss Jones.

Most recently, Young Buck revealed that he had not collected any royalty income as an artist on G-Unit Records, a subsidiary of Interscope. Those reports were quickly dispelled by Sha Money XL, manager of Young Buck, who said the rapper was “waving the G-Unit flag strong.”

“There has been a new rumor going around that 50 Cent has not paid Young Buck any royalties,” Sha Money XL told AllHipHop.com. “I, as Buck’s manager and as former President of G-Unit Records, want to make it clear: that is false. Young Buck has cleared over $10 million dollars working under 50 Cent’s and my guidance.”

Young Buck, born David Darnell Brown, was expected to appear on Shoot to Kill, the follow up to G-Unit’s 2003 debut album titled Beg For Mercy.

Young Buck once was to lead the charge for 50 Cent’s G-Unit South imprint. Instead, the rapper started Cashville Records and signed rap vet C-Bo and The Outlawz, who were a part of Tupac’s inner circle of emcees.

But has also started David Brown clothing to supplement his rap offerings.

50 Cent and The Game initially parted ways, because the Compton upstart wouldn’t assume beefs with Nas and Fat Joe that the rest of G-Unit had declared.

And just cuz I love y’all here’s Buck’s newest mixtape: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MM5ZVT30

According to reports all over the web, legendary Brownsville Marxmen M.O.P, the Mashout Posse, is in the process of being released from their deal with 50 Cent and G-Unit. The split is reportedly amicable and 50 has reportedly been more than fair in all dealings with the group. After 3 years on the Unit with no album, it’s time to move on. Hopefully the crew will release more of their music independently ala the Marxmen joint, so the masses can get their fix.

M.O.P. is one of the greatest groups of all time. Teaming them up with Primo has been a sure shot since the early 90’s. Hopefully these brothas get it straight and drop some more fiyaaahhh real fuckin’ soon.

G-Unit rapper Young Buck was Lil Wayne’s surprise guest at a show Saturday night 1/26 in Chattanooga, TN. Buck reportedly told the crowd that he plans on resigning with Cash Money Records in the very near future. As many will recall, Buck signed his first deal, before G-Unit, when he was only 17 years old in 1997. The “beef” between Wayne and Baby and G-Unit boss 50 Cent has been well chronicled…Where does this leave Buck and 50? Is this fuel to the G-Unit vs. Cash Money fire? Is Buck off the Unit? More details when we get em’. Stay tuned.

You ever notice how steroids makes them women bodybuilders look like men? I mean, who hasn’t had that conversation with their people that Mary J has looked like a dude on certain occasions? You thought Barry Bonds, Canseco, Clemens, Palmeiro, etc. were your only heroes on roids? Well, according to a report in New Yorks’ Time Union, some of your favorite rap stars might be on the clear!

(From MTV.com)

The ongoing investigation into steroid trafficking that has already sent shockwaves through professional baseball is now reportedly looking at members of the music industry as well. According to a report in Albany, New York’s Times Union, citing confidential sources, the names of Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean have turned up in an Albany-based probe.

The report claims that the singers and rappers are among tens of thousands of people who may have either used or received prescribed shipments of steroids and injectable human growth hormone (HGH) in recent years. But law enforcement officials said they don’t have evidence that musicians and other customers violated any laws. Instead, the probe focuses on anti-aging clinics, doctors and pharmacists who prescribed the drugs.

Medical experts told the paper that the alleged use of the drugs in the entertainment industry — which is already a human laboratory for anti-aging shortcuts from collagen, fat and botox injections to a laundry list of plastic-surgery procedures — is proof of how steroid use has spread in this country. Steroids and HGH, currently the focus of a congressional investigation into their use in professional baseball, are being illegally prescribed across the country at increasing rates under the misconception that they enhance healing, looks, strength and speed, and slow aging, but experts warn that the drugs can also have serious side effects when prescribed incorrectly.

The Times Union says it gained access to records from several unnamed cooperating witnesses on Long Island, New York, that reportedly indicate that human growth hormone or steroids were shipped to Blige and the others — sometimes under fictitious names — at hotels, production studios, private residences, an upscale Manhattan fitness club and through the Long Island office of chiropractor Michael Diamond. Diamond, who has not been identified as a target in the case or accused of breaking any laws, helps run an anti-aging program at Clay Gym in Manhattan.

Spokespeople for 50 Cent, Timbaland and Blige could not be reached for comment at press time — Jean’s spokespeople were reached, but offered no comment — however the New York Daily News reported that Blige blasted the Times Union story Sunday night. “Mary J. Blige has never taken any performance-enhancing illegal steroids,” spokeswoman Karynne Tencer told the Daily News.

Diamond said patient privacy laws prevent him from discussing whom he has treated or why, though he denied having anything to do with athletes. The Times Union noted that it “appears evident” that Diamond does cater to famous clients, as evidenced by the many stars, including faded action hero Steven Seagal, whose autographed photos line the walls of the doctor’s office.

The Times Union claims it has also obtained records showing that performers received prescriptions signed by South Florida osteopath Dr. Gary Brandwein, who was named last year as the physician who prescribed steroids to professional wrestler Chris Benoit, who killed his wife, son and himself. Brandwein is awaiting trial in Albany on felony drug charges.

To date, the paper reported that, in addition to the stars and Major League baseball players, the probe has also exposed allegations of steroid use by professional wrestlers, NFL players, police officers, prison guards, top-ranked body builders and people with ties to high school and college wrestling programs. HGH made the news last year when actor Sylvester Stallone paid a $2,975 fine to settle charges in Australia that he illegally possessed vials of steroids and HGH during a customs inspection of his luggage. Stallone said at the time that he needed the drugs to treat a pituitary gland issue.
